This project is Beta. What does this mean? (top)
It means we are starting out. We know the idea works because we have been doing it for a long time now. What this program does now is to automate everything for buyer, seller and admin.
Beta means we're still ironing out little bugs in the script. Nothing that will deter you from conducting your business. So rest assured. Plus, we are also working on, implementing and testing new additions to the original script that will make our Link-Mall a truly beautiful program for you.
What is the role of the Merchant? (top)
As a merchant, you sell links in your site to buyers who are looking to pay for backlinks leading back to their sites.
How to register. (top)
In the menu under the header image, you'll find "Sign in". Alternatively, go to http://www.the-c-directory.com/mall/user_login.php and fill in the info.
Types of submissions merchants can make to the Link-Mall. (top)
You can submit your full site to offer a sitewide backlink or you can submit an individual page in your site. Its up to you. Read more below.
How to make a submission (top)
1. Login to your account
2. If you have not been transfered to your Control Panel, click on http://www.the-c-directory.com/mall/user_home.php
3. There click on "My Links"
4. Fill in the form as shown in the start-up guide.
5. Find the Item Code shown just below each link and add if to your page. This code will automatically show the buyer's link when a sale is made.
Is there an import tool to allow me to upload my links in bulk? (top)
We are not giving you this option in order to avoid spam, baby! That would be way too simple for anyone to submit 100's of pages and bombard the Link Mall with crap.
How to proceed when an order is 'Paid' by a buyer? (top)
You don't need to do anything if you followed steps 1-5 of "How to make a submission". The buyer's link will automatically appear in the selected page of your site. But you'd do well to check all is fine.
Can I use the same merchant account to sell links in all my sites? (top)
No - you must open a buyer's account to place orders.

How much does it cost to join? (top)
Nothing. Its free! However, for each page you submit to The Link Mall, one link must be offered free of charge to us which we will offer at a special price, stipulated by us, in the Special Offers section.
After registering, when can I start selling? (top)
Immediately, after admin has approved your submission.

You're not reading carefully...! As mentioned here, when you submit a new link, we take the first one free of charge to offer at a price stipulated by us in the Special Offers section. When this link is sold, we will readjust to the origianl price you stipulated. So, for example, you offer 10 link-spaces in one of your site's pages at $10 each. We will sell one at $1. The remaining 9 will be sold at $10. You earn $90.
In what currency do I work with? (top)
When setting your price, the default system is US Dollars. Buyers have the ability, though, to view pricing in a number of different currencies, selectable from the left-hand column.
What is the average price of a link? (top)
Its up to you entirely. If you're not sure, look around the mall and see what others are asking for. We have no say in what you charge. If the price you stipulate is too high, you can always change it by editing your links.
How many links can I sell per page? (top)
This is entirely up to you. A word of caution, though, buyers will shy away from sites with too many links in a single page because search engines also don't like that.
Can I edit this information after submitting it? (top)
Of course. Any time.

4. Choose link you wish to change and click on the link "edit" next to it in the far-right.
How long must I keep the links up for? (top)
The selling price you stipulate is for 1 year. You are, thus, obligated to keep the links up for 12 months counting from date the buyer paid for the link. If you 'break the rule' you will be required to make a full refund to us, which we will pass on to the buyer.
How am I paid for sales? (top)
The Link-Mall receives all payments from buyers.
For each sale consumed, you will receive 100% of the price you stipulatedevery 10 days, directly to the Paypal Account you stipulated in your registration form.
When and how do I get paid by the Link-Mall? (top)
We make out payments every 10 days to your Paypal account which you submitted in your registration page.
We only use Paypal for now.
How do I know when a link has been purchased? (top)
In your Control Panel, sales will be listed in the "Merchant Sales" zone. Please remember that the first link of each page you submit will not be paid to you. |
